So, I caught up on all the released episodes of Fall in Love With Me, and the next one will be subbed tomorrow morning, but I figure since I don't like waiting and will have to wait a week for each new one or two? to come out, I better find something else to watch. So naturally, because I am the queen of obsession, I turned to another one of Aaron Yan's dramas, Just You. I just finished episode 3 and decided I would type up my first thoughts.

{ Notes } Why I'm Not at Week 10... This week I started the drama "Fall In Love With Me" and absolutely love Fareinheit's Aaron Yan and his voice so two songs from the OST are on here even though they aren't technically kpop. I know, it's cheating, but I had to. I'm impressed by Jun.K's album and after watching the music video and listening to Love & Hate more times I'm starting to just love it... Jiyeon's song is weak, Hyosung's song is catchy but that's all it has, M.Pire's song is good, I like it, and Fly To the Sky is awkward because I see Brian Joo as his crossfit-training, weight-lifting, instagramming self so it's weird to hear him singing ballads again but their song is impressive and I actually really like it.
I've never watched a Taiwanese drama before, but I wasn't getting anywhere with kdramas lately so I decided to give one a try just for fun. "Fall in Love With Me" was on Viki's front page so I just clicked it and started watching, then realized I recognized the lead male from a video I had seen of a different Taiwanese drama on Youtube one time when I was randomly browsing videos of dramas, and I also remember thinking he was incredibly beautiful so it was a little more incentive to watch this one. I'm now about 20 minutes into the 6th episode so I thought I'd type up what I think so far.

{ Notes } Yay for a lot of new comebacks! And we're still waiting on some more too: VIXX and Infinite next week! So excited. This week I have been crazy impressed with Wheesung, whose live performance especially blew me away, and some album songs have also caught my attention for the first time in awhile as well. This week's chart is filled with new songs so it was hard to put them in order but I did my best. Why I'm Not is at Week 9 already but I'm still listening to it and loving it so I couldn't take it off the list. Hoping for an even better chart next week.
I'm going to try to make more posts regarding my thoughts on particular comebacks, and kind of elaborate a little more than just my Top 20s every week. Because it's summer, I've made it a new goal of mine to do this more so I am starting with a small wave of comebacks from this week, including Wheesung's Night & Day, Jun Hyosung's Good Night Kiss, BTL's Too-G, Mr. Mr.'s Big Man, and Junggigo's Want U.
Wheesung - Night and Day
When I first heard this song I fell in love with it; Wheesung's vocals are always on point and a few of his old songs are very dear to my heart for personal reasons so his voice has always been somewhat of a comfort to me. Beyond that though, the song is beautiful and powerful and melodically very well done, despite relying heavily on the vocals. There were a few times when I felt that his long notes were kind of weird, like out of place or a little over done, but after listening to it many more times I've grown used to them and they don't bother me as much. As for the lyrics of the song, they are absolutely beautiful. Certain lines really stick out to me at the moment, such as "there's nothing that's not needed of you, what I want is everything you got, for your love I want to know alot, for your love I want to learn the world more only for you," and "thanks for being you," etc. and the message of the song in general is to me very touching. I feel like the song is referring to a love interest that is no longer physically around, and is talking about how they will still love them forever, in life or in death. The line "the day where the sun is high up, the night moon is up" to me means that there is still light shining (or love burning) no matter the time of day (or span of a lifetime) and it will shine as brightly as it does in the day. Even if this isn't an accurate analysis of the song, the message is still very sweet and Wheesung does a good job of pulling it off. As for the music video, I think CAP looks reaalllyy hot and Yura is gorgeous and they both do a really good job. I noticed that during the lines such as "for your love I want to learn alot," Yura's character is walking away or driving away from CAP, and once the chorus comes, "I love you 24 hours," he starts to go after her. To me, it's like he is realizing that though she is gone from his life, he will still love her always.
Anyway, to sum up I am super impressed by Wheesung's song and absolutely love it.
Jun Hyosung - Good Night Kiss
So for starters, I'm not a Hyosung fan at all. It's not that I hate her with a passion or anything, but I just honestly don't like her all that much. So when I heard she was having a solo, I wasn't very excited or anything. As far as the music video goes, it's not extremely provocative or anything too scandalous, and I honestly do like the dance, but I just feel like there's nothing really there. It's all very shallow and generic sexy solo. Nothing stands out or is impressive or too great about it; it's just average. The song's lyrics are basic, and the video is your standard sexy concept. There's even a scene where she's just standing there looking behind her shoulder with her butt stuck out and I just don't understand why. The song itself is rather catchy after hearing it a couple times, but it's still nothing special. Basically, I wasn't wow-ed by her song but I'm not going to lie, I don't hate it completely.
BTL - Too-G
I wasn't expecting much from this group but I was surprised at how much I like this song; they have pretty impressive vocals and the musical surprises are intriguing and unique. It is kind of your typical strong boy band concept but I really like it. The music video wasn't all that well done...I kind of cringed at the very obvious green screen scenes, and the rest of it was not anything special or interesting, but for me the song is what does it and kept me watching until the end. I think this is a really well made song despite the dance and video being slightly lacking. All in all I am impressed and hope they continue to do well.
Mr. Mr. - Big Man
I'm a huge fan of Mr Mr's songs usually, and this one is no exception. Their vocals are always really great, and their songs do a good job of showing them off and the fact that they can sing pretty high notes. I've said this before but it takes a whole lot for me to like a music video, so I wasn't really a fan of this one. I don't really understand the Pinnochio reference or the yoyo, and the effects were not very appealing, so it was kind of boring to me. I felt kind of like I was missing something; I was really confused the whole video and I don't really understand what "Big Man" exactly means...I thought maybe it had something to do with the Pinnochio's nose? but that doesn't make much sense. I've given up trying to figure it out. I do like the song a lot and the dance is alright too. I wish they would have a really great concept, so they would stand out to people, because honestly their songs are great and they are extremely talented, but again and again they are overlooked, especially after the whole Mr. Mr. drama with snsd. I'm hoping they can make a name for themselves on their own.
Junggigo feat. Beenzino - Want U
Junggigo's voice is somewhat addictive and I love that it's unique but also soft and smooth. I was excited for this song because it has Beenzino in it to be honest and his rap is really great as usual, but the whole song is honestly pretty nice. It has a good sound; it's cute and honestly just a good song. I mean, it's not amazing or anything, but it's really nice and I can see myself listening to it a lot. I was pretty impressed. The video was kind of boring but the dance parts were pretty interesting. I wish Beenzino had appeared but oh well. Anyway Junggigo is starting to impress me more and more, since his song with Soyu I've been interested and I'm glad he came back again with this song. Looking forward to more of his stuff. He's talented and I like his sound, so all in all I'm content with this song.
I had heard some buzz about Chad Future but didn't know anything about him / hadn't heard any of his music or seen him in anything, but upon hearing that Ravi from VIXX would be in a duet with the guy, I decided to check it out. I read a little about him and learned that he is American but is attempting to break the barrier between K-pop and English music. I know this post is kind of late but I haven't really had the time to write it all out.

{ Notes } So, The Cab's new album came out this week... So I've been neglecting Kpop to be honest..not to mention there haven't been many new releases other than EXO's album but I just downloaded that yesterday so I hadn't had a chance to listen to it all week. I also moved out of my dorm so it's been a bit hectic, and my workouts have consisted of listening to some older songs and a couple select songs so it was extremely hard to make this top 20. Hopefully next week there will be a whole lot of new stuff on here but for right now it's kinda boring. I really like Aoora's song Vanilla Sky, like a lot, it's been on repeat several times this week. Other than that, there's not much that has caught my attention. Next week I'll try to sort it out a bit better. This is the best I can do for now. Last night G.na and Wheesung released new videos so I downloaded their albums, and VIXX and Infinite are rumored to come back soon so I am expecting a lot. We'll see~ Bye for now.
So, Secret Love Affair got a little boring, and I read that Kang Ha Neul was in Angel Eyes so I decided to give it a try.

{ Back On The Chart } Don't Tease Me - Speed
{ Notes } There hasn't been much new music which I completely understand but that's also the reason for my getting a bit bored with music lately; I've been listening to old songs a lot this week and a couple of my recent faves so the top 20 may not be as interesting. There's also a lot of shifting around and whatnot and that's just for the same reason tbh. I was surprised that Why I'm Not became my favorite this week over Overdose, but that's probably because Why I'm Not is like, my life song right now so I can't not have it higher than Overdose. I still really really like Overdose and can't wait for the music video. Of course all of Speed's recent songs are on the chart because I've been obsessing over them lately; they are extremely talented and though I have yet to make a post about them I have a lot to say. I don't like NC.A that much but her song is catchy and there isn't much else to listen to so I've grown to like the song... Park Hyo Shin's song is really fun to listen on full volume because his voice is so powerful. Other than that there's not much interesting, like I said~
I'm finished with school so I was looking for
a drama that would keep me busy for awhile. Recently I haven't heard any rave
about any dramas so I looked up which ones are airing currently and there
aren't very many that looked interesting to me. I tried to watch Hotel King but
it seemed slightly lame so I stopped and kept looking; I was between starting
Angel Eyes and Secret Love Affair, and decided on Secret Love Affair because of
Yoo Ah In.
Hi I'm Hanna~ I really like 이창섭 and cats. Anyway a lot of times I have thoughts about Korean media that I can't really articulate in conversation so I try to write my thoughts down as sort of a way to document my opinions through time.
