Hanna's Top 50 Kpop [First Half of 2014]

Sooo 2014 is half over, so I decided to document the top 50 songs of the first half of 2014! I started doing charts in February, so this doesn't include anything from January, unfortunately, but I still think it's kind of cool to compare songs across different months and see how well they did. This is all based on previous charts, which are based on my opinion each week.

Out of the 144 songs included on my top 20s since I started, these are the top 50. I decided this based on a point system; each song gets one point for every week it is on the chart, and points for its rank each week. If it's #1, it gets 20 points, 2 gets 19....all the way down to #20 on the chart which receives 1 point. After spending quite a while counting the totals, these were the results. I don't necessarily agree with them at this point in time but this is a measure of what songs I have liked these past 5 or 6 months, not what I like right now!

In January I will do 2014 Part 2 and then also do a 2014 altogether total so it will definitely be interesting to see what makes it to both of those! I'm looking forward to the future.

Notes: It should come at no surprise that Why I'm Not is first. What was surprising to me, however, was the fact that Yes or No wasn't higher than it is. Last Romeo made it to the top unexpectedly, and I was slightly shocked that Overdose was so high, because if I were to compare the top 5 songs I wouldn't necessarily put them in that order. But this seems to be for the most part pretty accurate, and it was fun to make, although extremely time consuming.
